Welcome to our web site! This family business was founded by my father 22 years ago in Naperville Illinois with only one inflatable. This was before “Moon Jumps” were a standard accessory for birthday parties and social events. I remember in the early days I would keep him company as he set up the first Moon Jumps in the Chicago area. As I was only three, we had to keep a little portable potty in the backseat for the long drives. It is safe to say I have been working for this company since I was in diapers.
My father told me that when he first applied for a business startup loan for this company he was laughed out of the room. Never the less he was persistent and was able to obtain starting capital. Being the hardest working man I know, he worked full time as a chemical engineer Monday through Friday and also ran Moon Jump, Inc. Thursday through Sunday. He worked seven days a week for 20 years building the company to have over 100 pieces of equipment to provide to the Chicago Area.
So here we are in the year 2012! The founder has moved on to the next phase in his life leaving the business in safe hands within the family. Although my parents do not work here anymore it is still our mission to provide the best possible service, products, and pricing in the Chicago area. I want the entire Moon Jump rentalexperience to be easy, affordable, and fun for everyone.

Trivia Question: Who introduced Moon Jumps to Northeast Illinois?
Answer: We did - Moon Jump, Inc.
In 1990 my wife and I looked into renting an inflatable ride for our then 7-year old daughter. After considerable searching we found that the only places that had inflatable rides were the Carnival and Amusement Ride establishments. These establishments were located in Chicago, Iowa, and Indiana and the cost to rent from them was prohibitive. We were disappointed. However, that prompted us into thinking that there had to be a means of renting inflatable rides at an affordable rate and from a local establishment. We had seen this done in other cities. At that point we made the decision to start our own company of inflatable ride rentals. In 1990 we invented the name Moon Jump and started the business. Some of you may notice that many companies refer to their inflatable rides as Moon Jumps. We take pride in knowing that we invented that name.
We have since grown some but have not lost site that we are still a small family owned business and will continue to treat you with respect, give you the personal service you deserve and obviously just as important, continue to keep the rental prices affordable.
