However, keeping just a few key essentials in mind can make the process painless and get you back to planning the rest of your event in no time at all!


Know the dimensions of the place you plan to use. For outside events, take note of low-hanging branches, fixed lawn equipment or landscaping. If your inflatable is going inside, make sure to know the clearance of your ceiling and any lights or fans that might impact the unit.


Know your units! Different inflatable types have different features. Standard units offer the most bounce area for your buck, but not much in the way of extra entertainment. Combos (arguably the most popular unit type) do have slightly smaller bounce areas, but make up for it with built-in slides. Some even contain obstacle areas for added fun! Jumps rarely take more than 20-30 minutes to inflate and stake down, but getting units set up earlier means less stress for you and more time to fix a potential (and rare) issue. Delivery drivers will often arrive as early as 8:00am if possible, but can make special accommodations to show up earlier if requested.
